I felt before that communication was one of our weak points. I believe that we're getting better at that though. Our strong point is that we have many gifted workers with good attitudes at our disposal to really get things done. As long as the communications line doesn't break down, I feel that we can really make this show a success.

Our company has turned out to be very strong in the sense that we have all been helping each other out. For example, when I needed help cutting gels during class, Jon was right on top of it, offering to help me. (Thanks a bunch, Jon!) Another strength of our company is that our communication skills have gotten better. I agree with Dane that, yes, it was one of our weaker points, but we are beginning to make it one of our greater strengths.
One of our weaknesses (this is in a specific area, so please nobody be offended) is not having Tynan here. It hasn't been a great struggle with e-mailing back and forth, but I do believe that things would be easier, publicity-wise, if he was on campus and we were able to work with him directly. This weakness of sorts has been handled very nicely and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, but I'm sure it may have been a struggle in the beginning when the kinks were still being worked out.
Another weakness that I see with our company is the dramaturgy. Now, being one of the dramaturgs and directly involved with this aspect of the class and the show makes it really hard for me to say that. However, there is work being done and designs being made and ideas being finalized for the lobby display.
I am sure that there are other small little weaknesses here and there, but nothing that I see that has really been holding us back. Everything (the way I see it) is falling into place very nicely and I believe the hard work that we are all doing is really going to pay off.

i feel a weakness is disagreements between members of the company not being addressed. members may vent to another member (who often agrees) but the person the disagreement is occuring with is not approached. (whether it be to not upset someone, lack of assertiveness, or apathy). a strong point is definitely that when we identify a problem, we all try and solve it. (for example the communication issue, deadlines, etc.) we're getting a lot done, so let's keep up the enthusiasm and have a great show!!!!

I believe that our strength lies in our willingness to help one another out. I have noticed that if someone needs help that multiple people from the different fields within the company will offer a hand. Also I believe that one of our strengths is artistic abilities. We have actors creating wonderful characters, a lighting design that sounds amazing, a soud plot, make-up artists, costume designers, set designers, a props designer/engineer. Our man problem thought is a steady flow of communication betweent these designers to keep the entire concept of the show in sync. I believe this can be easily fixed by just talking things over with everyone in the company.

I fel that one of the greatest strengths of this class is our ability to get things done once they've been set in motion. Getting things set in motion was a bit difficult at first, I thought, but now that everyone has dug in to their projects communication about what needs to get done and who needs help really started flowing. Altough communication has been an obstacle overall, we're working to improve in that area and I feel we've been fairly successful. Althoug, Brittany is right about the strange lack of interpersonal disagreements, and I feel that working things out between individual members would probably be beneficial to the company. This could be done by individuals talking out or emailing each other instead of the entire company, perhaps.

as a class we are very strong in working together to get all of the necessary things completed that are needed to make this show a success. This is very good. I believe that we are all doing our very best with every project that we have had to complete. Like many others have said communication within the company was one of our biggest weaknesses. However, we have improved immensley and have become a stronger company because of that fact. Lets continue to keep up the good work!

A benefit of writing this now is that I am able to see what improvements, if any, have been made since the time when others have posted. To this, I must say, I believe we have improved immensely in terms of communication and I believe we are working as an effective unit. A weakness I am seeing is that we are failing to see the gravity that is our own show, it is a week and a half away and I feel that in some cases it is not being viewed as a top priority. I realize we all have our classes to do, but this is a huge job, and we need to treat it as such. I feel that this can be solved by collaborating with our other members and raising each other up. Ask for help and when you are asked for help, oblige them.
